The Holy Metropolitan Cathedral Church of Badajoz, or Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, the archiepiscopal seat, is located in the Plaza de España, Badajoz. It is the capital of the Mérida-Badajoz Archdiocese and a founding member of the Association of Cathedral Cities.
