The Archaeological Museum of Asturias is a state and regional institution that preserves and disseminates the archaeological heritage of Asturias. Founded in 1845 and opened to the public in 1952, it is the most important archaeological museum in the region.
It serves as a leading center for research and conservation of Asturian archaeological heritage, offering cultural, scientific, and educational services. It was reopened in 2011 after renovations.
