Sculpture "La Regenta"
Oviedo
The urban sculpture "La Regenta," in Oviedo (Asturias), opposite the Cathedral, is one of more than one hundred that adorn the city. A bronze work by Mauro Álvarez Fernández (1997), it depicts Ana Ozores, a character from the novel by Leopoldo Alas "Clarín." It is a literary and artistic tribute.
