Sculpture of "The Milkmaid"

The sculpture "La Lechera" (The Milkmaid) in Oviedo, by Manuel García Linares (1996), is a bronze tribute to the milkmaids who distributed milk in the city until the 1970s. It depicts a village woman with utensils and a donkey loaded with milk cans, seeking a connection with the public. It is one of Oviedo's many urban sculptures.
