Old Cathedral
Salamanca
The Old Cathedral of Salamanca, dedicated to Saint Mary of the See, is one of the city's two cathedrals. Its construction, begun in the 12th century by Bishop Jerónimo de Perigord and completed in the 14th century by Alfonso Barasaque, combines Romanesque and Gothic styles, making it an important historical and artistic monument.
