Monastery of the Clares
Palencia
The Monastery of Las Claras in Palencia is a Gothic building (14th-15th centuries) inhabited by Poor Clare nuns. Its church is open for worship and is famous for the image of the Holy Christ of Las Claras, a recumbent figure that has given rise to legends and miracles.
