Palencia
The Palencia City Council is the governing body of the city and municipality of Palencia, the capital of the province. It is presided over by the mayor, democratically elected since 1979. Currently, Miriam Andrés (PSOE) holds the position. Following the 2023 elections, the PSOE governs in minority.
