Monument to Francisco de Goya

The Monument to Francisco de Goya, in the Plaza del Pilar in Zaragoza, pays homage to the Aragonese painter. Inaugurated in 1960, it was designed by José Beltrán Navarro and Federico Marés. The statue of Goya, paintbrush in hand, presides over the monument, which includes a quote from the artist.
