Madrasa Palace
Granada
The Madrasa Palace, inaugurated in 1349 by Yusuf I, was the first public madrasa in Al-Andalus. Today, it belongs to the University of Granada and houses cultural activities and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. It taught law, medicine, and mathematics, and was located next to the Great Mosque and the Alcaicería (silk market).
