Royal Chancery
Granada
The Royal Chancery of Granada was a judicial body established by the Catholic Monarchs in 1500, with jurisdiction south of the Tagus River. It ceased to exist in 1834. Its building, the Palace of the Chancery (1531-1587), is a Site of Cultural Interest in Plaza Nueva and today houses the High Court of Justice of Andalusia and the Provincial Court.
