Chapel of Villaviciosa
Cordoba
The Villaviciosa Chapel, the original main chapel of the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, was built in the skylight of Al-Hakam II (10th century). Modified in the 15th century by Isabella I of Castile with a Gothic nave, it was renamed in 1607. In 1881, later additions were removed to restore its original 10th-century design.
