The Plaza de la Corredera

The Plaza de la Corredera is an emblematic square in Córdoba, the only quadrangular one in Andalusia, built in 1683. Famous for bullfights, social events, and autos-da-fé, it houses the Sánchez Peña Market (formerly a prison). Declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1981, it was restored between 1986 and 2001.
