The Roman Theatre of Cádiz (Theatre of Balbo), discovered in 1980, is the second largest and oldest in Roman Hispania. It has an interpretation center in the El Pópulo neighborhood, where visitors can see its remains (stage, orchestra, seating) and learn about its history. A gallery is accessible beneath the Posada del Mesón inn.
