Almeria
The Archaeological Museum of Almería is the most important museum in the province, housing the largest collection of archaeological artifacts. Founded in 1933, its current building, inaugurated in 2006, is an award-winning structure, having received prizes such as the PAD and ARCO awards, and an honorable mention from the European Museum Forum in 2008.
