Description

The #1 tuner in the world! This is not just a guitar tuner: we’ve got +100 tunings for 15 instruments! It’s fast, accurate and easy to use. GuitarTuna has been downloaded over 80 million times, which makes it the most downloaded tuning app in the world. Tuna has it all: • A LOT of tunings: standard, drop D, drop A, half step down and loads more • Metronome with tap-for-tempo and multiple time signatures • Chromatic tuner for alternative tunings and for tuning any instrument • The clean, intuitive and customisable UI makes it easy for anyone to use • Tools: Ear training, chord guide, games, and exercises. How it works: Just pluck a string on your instrument - Tuna detects the sound using your device’s microphone. You’ll get instant visual feedback while tuning. No cables needed. With our award-winning audio recognition technology, we guarantee you an insanely accurate tuning result. We use noise cancellation technology to eliminate background noises while you tune. The instruments we currently support: • Guitar • Guitar 7-String • Guitar 12-String • Ukulele • Cavaquinho • Bass • Bass 5-string • Violin • Viola • Cello • Fiddle • Mandolin • Balalaika • Banjo • Banjo 5-String • Chromatic tuner for all instruments We’ve put a lot of love and effort into making GuitarTuna the tuner it is today. User feedback is valuable to us, and you can be sure we’re listening. We recently added chromatic tuner to the app because of the sheer amount of requests for it. With the chromatic tuner, users can create their own tunings or tune basically any instrument (you can even identify your landline’s beeping frequency). GuitarTuna Pro subscription: Subscribe for unlimited access. Subscriptions are monthly. Prices may vary in different countries. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s iTunes Account Settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription. GuitarTuna is developed by Yousician. Check out the app to learn and master guitar, ukulele, bass, piano or singing! It’s pretty cool you actually read this far! Here’s a joke for you: What’s the difference between a bass and a tuna? You can tuna bass, but you can’t bass a tuna. Now download the app and see how it is. Send us your feedback of the joke and the app to support@guitartuna.com! https://yousician.com/privacy-notice https://yousician.com/terms-of-service

I downloaded this app because I began playing Ukulele. I thought tuning was going to be super confusing, but this app makes it so easy! It’s so simple which gives me more time to practice! Literally takes almost 2 minutes depending on the last time you have tuned your instrument. Get this app! You will NOT regret it!🤩

I absolutely LOVE this app. It is the ONLY tuner I use for my guitars (6 and 12 string acoustics) and my Uke. It is more accurate than electronic or built-in tuners. I usually put my phone on my knee while tuning so that it sits near the body of my instrument. I love how in manual mode, you can select each string individually and hear an example of what that string, properly tuned, sounds like. Sometimes the app chimes saying that my string is tuned correctly, even tho it sounds a bit off to me. So I recommend fine-tuning by ear after you get your instrument pretty close to being tuned with the app. I love the chord library, where you can not only see correct finger placement on an image of a fretboard, but there is also a color-coded hand on each chord, which shows you exactly which finger should be placed on each string. You can also hear examples of each and every chord. The only thing I don’t get is why the App Store listing claims there is a subscription service and in.qpp purchases. I have NEVER run into anything of the sort in my years of using this app. I don’t even see a place anywhere in the app that has in-app purchases. Unless there used to be a one time purchase option that I don’t remember purchasing? Dunno. As I said, I’ve had this app for years. Last but not least- your bass and tune joke was fantastic and made me giggle out loud. Here’s another one for ya- What do you get when you throw a piano down a mine shaft? A Flat Minor Oh and one final suggestion- for your Iraqi users, make sure you add BAGDAD to your standard tuning library. 😜

Best app ever! I have compared it to multiple other guitar tuners that require batteries and always need replaced and I can assure you this tuner is on point! The days of buying a tuner and hoping the battery isn’t dying during tuning are long gone.

The app seems great and I would like to buy, but would never commit to a $4.99/month to tune a Ukulele.
